| Summary | 0006107: Can't change JACK preferences in Audio/Midi Dialog after first session | ||||
| Description | When loading/creating a session after application is first launched the Audio/Midi dialog allows selecting JACK parameters, driver, device, SR, buffer size etc. If I close that session and open another The parameters in the Audio/Midi dialog are fixed at what was selected for the previous session and I'm unable to change SR for instance. | ||||
| Additional Information | The temporary JACK server is still running not after the session is closed. It that intended? After a bit of playing around it seems that selecting a different driver(jack dummy driver for instance) will force a JACK server restart. For me this means having to close Ardour to change Audio/Midi configuration | ||||

"The temporary JACK server is still running not after the session is closed. It that intended." No, that is a bug in JACK2 which has meanwhile been fixed. Update to jack 1.9.11 (or use jack1, 0.124.1) |
