| Summary | 0006060: MIDI controller data randomly not played when starting from middle of a region | ||||
| Description | The MIDI controller data is most of the time not sent when the cursor starts playing from the middle of a region. In my tests, it is CC7 volume with linear curves that never stop from the beginning of the region (that might be important, not sure) The only conclusions I could made were: 1- Data always plays when starting to play before the region. 2- Data usually plays when starting close to a location where we were just playing successfully. In other words, it seems like there is a sort of "cache" that keeps a part of the region and once we got it playing correctly, it will keep playing correctly when relocating close to it. So the best way to reproduce is to constantly relocate far from current position. e.g. start playing at 10% of the region, then stop and go to 90%, stop, go to 40%... This should reproduce almost systematically. In practice it's a huge waste of time because every time you want to hear a particular 10s part, you have to go back 1 min before and play the whole thing. I can give my current project in private if needed. | ||||
