Summary0006054: Editor window resets itself to 'Above Dock' layer in Fluxbox
DescriptionArdour version: 3.5.403~dfsg-2 (current version from Debian testing repos)

Steps to reproduce:

- Right-click editor window's Fluxbox window title bar and set: *Layer > Normal*
- In editor window, click on the output routing button of a channel strip
- Close the resulting pop-up window (no need to do anything in there)
- Confirm through right-click on editor window's Fluxbox window title bar that it has reset itself to: *Layer > Above Dock*

As a result of this, the editor window will cover any dialog boxes that might open up (e.g., when trying to delete a track), which can raise the (incorrect) impression that Ardour has crashed, whereas the dialog window in the background is actually just waiting for input.

What does /not/ solve the problem is to set *Remember > Layer* in the editor window's Fluxbox window title bar, which results in the following entry in ~/.fluxbox/apps :

[app] (name=ardour_editor) (class=Ardour)
  [Layer] {8}

I have to admit I'm not sure whether this is an Ardour- or a Fluxbox-related issue, but I haven't observed it with any other applications so far.

I should also mention that this problem occurs without any Ardour-related settings in ~/.fluxbox/apps
