| Description | With a 1,in,2out track, add a 2in,2out plugin and three panners are created. Remove the plugin and three panners remains. I think any number of scenarios fails to do the right thing. These types of problems are seen by myself and emiles. | ||||

Similar for me, I get 2 panners upon loading of a 2in/2out plugin, and it remains after removing the plugin. After save/close/open of same session, back to 1 panner and this error: [ERROR]: too many panner states found in pan automation file /mnt/data/ardour_sessions/2004-07-23/automation/2004-07-23-pan-Audio 2.automation |

1in/2out track: * add 2in/2out plugin; creates two panners, L. and R. * "clear" the plugin; asks, "Do you really want to remove all redirects from this track", answer "yes, remove them all" which leaves both the L. and R. panners * "cut" the plugin; no dialog window is produced, the plugin is removed and the R. panner (bottom) is removed, the L. panner (top) remains and is panned hard L. Additional note: With the above scenario and after performing "cut", moving the L. panner to a center position causes the mixerstrip to resize--appears to size the prefader insert box. Adding a post plugin resizes the mixerstrip to the correct dimensions. |

you can no longer add 2in plugin to a 1in track without a mono->stereo splitter plugin ahead of it. |
