Summary0005891: Crash trying to reload a previously-saved session
DescriptionI recorded a session with 3 tracks a few days ago, using Ardour 3.5.308. After that I was able to edit the session on my lap-top, which is running 3.5.357. Made quite a number of edits, and saved the .ardour file at a few places in case I made a mess and had to revert. At some point I did make a mess, so I quit Ardour and restarted it, but when I tried to load any of my saved session files (except the earlier ones, which I made fairly soon after recording), Ardour seg-faulted.

I'll be attaching terminal (stdin/stderr) and gdb backtrace output files. If it would help, I can also attach .ardour files - for example, the last one that doesn't cause the crash, and the first that does.

I was able to rescue the session by hacking out all references (in the .ardour file) to a wav file that I had imported to a new track, and another that I had not (knowingly), called "T0001-Audio 1.wav". I'm not sure this is a clean fix in general, but it did allow the session to load without errors or crashes, and I was able to finish my edits and export the result. I had to re-import the audio and re-do its automation, but luckily that was very small compared to the work that I had already put into the rest of the session.

I've done the same or very similar importing operation with a number of other sessions over the last few months - most importing the same wav file - and I don't remember seeing this issue before.
