| Summary | 0005890: Ardour does not correctly implement MIDI binding of logarithmic LV2 controls | ||||
| Description | When binding a logarithmic LV2 control (e.g. most filter cutoff controls) to an external MIDI control knob, Ardour does not correctly translate the MIDI control change. This means that in the lower half of the control’s range it does not move smoothly but jumps unnaturally. This only seems to happen when attempting to do manual knob tweaking; drawing automation curves with the mouse operates the controls as expected. | ||||
