Summary	0005866: Zoom tool doesn't always highlight selected area to be zoomed in on
Description	When using the zoom tool, it doesn't always highlight the area you are selecting to zoom in on. This happens sporadically but I am always able to replicate it if I attempt it a few times in a row so it's not elusive. It seems to be less of an issue when the session is zoomed out but when zoomed in, it's hit and miss whether the selected zoom area will be highlighted or not. In both screenshots, approximately the same area is selected to be zoomed in on. You can see that in the first screenshot, the selected area is highlighted, whereas in the second screenshot, the selected area is not highlighted. This is an issue in both master and cc branch
