| Description | I am using a bcf2000 in mackie mode. When restoring an existing project, it doesn't restore the fader positions on load of a project (sets them to zero) with no apparent feedback even when i start play. When I use the bank controls on the bcf to move across the channel sets, it suddenly comes to life and restores the positions and then responds to feedback with movement of the motorised faders. I restored back to 3.5.130 from git and checked, the fader positions are loaded on start and feedback is sent immediately IF the playback head is in the middle of the project on load (i.e. the project was saved previously with the playback head in the middle) If the playback head is at the beginning of the project, no feedback is sent back. Moving the playback head before Play is clicked sends feedback to the bcf and then from that point onwards the motorised faders respond to MMC. This behaviour is not there in 3.5.143/144 - only after the bank controls are used, does the mixer respond in any fashion to feedback | ||||
| Additional Information | This is the ardour log from 3.5.144 (it looks similar to 3.5.143). The first two "Unknown sysex" occurs on load of project. The rest are triggered after using the bank controls when the bcf responds to feedback. One more bit of information that may be useful: When the playhead is at the start of the project there are no midi messages going to and from my bcf. However when the playhead is in the middle, there are continuous midi messages going to and from the bcf even when the project playback is stopped. |
