| Summary | 0005762: 'Auto-return' cannot be toggled when external time master is active | ||||
| Description | Whatever the state of auto-return is when external time master is activated, it cannot be changed from that state until time master is set back to internal. I don't think it really makes much sense to have auto-return active with an external time master, so it should probably just be disabled in that case. If, alternatively, anyone thinks there is a valid use of auto-return with external time master, toggling auto-return should be permitted at all times regardless of the time master setting. | ||||

One teeny-tiny niggle: if "Auto Return" or "Follow Edits" is active, the respective button, although disabled, remains in the "On" state when external time master is active, even though the thing it controls is effectively off. That seems a little odd to me, though I suppose it could be justified by saying that the button shows the state that would apply when it becomes active again. I don't think it's worth expending any great effort to fix, in any case. |
