Summary0000576: resize jack latency buffers in realtime
DescriptionI know it is possible to resize the latency buffers of jack.
I've tried running the executable jack_bufsize(I think that's the right name) with quite lot of success.
It would be great to not have to shutdown Ardour and restart jackd everytime we want to change the buffer size.
Additional InformationBy the way, latency compensation works perfectly well.
Is there a way to ADD LATENCY only in Ardour to make it more stable when using a session with too many tracks and or redirects?

"adding latency" wouldn't do what you think. latency is a compensation process, it doesn't change the workload or alter the time deadlines that ardour has to meet.

we will support variable buffer size post-2.0
