| Summary | 0000572: Regions do not play on rec armed track | ||||
| Description | If I record arm a track and roll the transport to begin recording on that track, if the transport rolls over an existing region on the track, the region does not play. This makes it difficult to overdub mistakes on an existing region on a track. | ||||

do you have auto-input on or off? do you understand how to use punch-in and punch-out? |
also, you may not realize that you can dynamically punch in+out at any time with ardour. tracks do not need to be armed at the start, just rec-enable for the session. |
