| Description | The preferences window brought up by double-clicking on a selected Control Surface Protocol (Preferences->Control Surfaces) is much larger than needed. Furthermore, grabbing a corner resize widget only allows me to change the width of the window, not the height. | ||||
| Additional Information | xwininfo reports that the window is 834 pixels high x 855 pixels high. On my laptop with a 1366x786 screen, the window is so large I can neither see the title bar (which has the resize widgets) nor the lower corners to grab a resize widget. I'm using Fluxbox as a window manager, and it allows me to maximize the window, bringing the titlebar and corners into view. Even then I cannot adjust the height of the window, only the width. The height reverts back to 855 pixels after moving the corner resize widget. While certainly not a showstopper, this is rather annoying on the laptop I use for mobile recording. | ||||

commit 58e8f43 and the upcoming 3.5 should see this much improved. that was a stupid design. |
