| Description | I would like to see db levels meters on everything possible tracks effects ... etc. And also I would like graphical views of effects although thats probably not your department. | ||||

what do you mean by "graphical views" of effects? |

I think there should be visual of the freqency spectrum e.g. EQ plugins (freq. vs amplitude graphs) in stead of just nobs and dials ... I would like to be able to see how I am effecting the sound. not only does this help when I am not sure if anything is happening to the sound but also gives me a visual referance for future use. |

I also cant tell if plugins are cliping in some instances |

It would be better if this was split into seperate issues. |

1. There are visual level meters on some plugins, but that's a choice the plugin writer makes. 2. GUIs for plugins are probably coming with LV2 plus some (still unknonwn) extension. 3. Ardour doesn't clip. Your soundcard might, and for that ardour displays the peak meter in bright red. |
