Summary0005511: 100% reproducible crash when save, after changing snapshot.
Description
To reproduce the bug you need a session with multiple snapshots.

1/ Load any snapshot.

2/ then, change snaphot (load another one with the right tab)

3/ now, try to save (don't need to do anything) => crash

Note: if you did some change, you can't get it back by reload the "crashed" snapshot, there is no recovery of data.

100% reproducible with kx-studio, buffer:512, sample ; rate:44100khz ; periode:3 (for firewire) ; not in realtime mode and client time out 5000ms.
kernel: 3.8.0 lowlatency

I cannot reproduce - works here.

 - Can you reproduce with an empty session?
 - Can you reproduce with a session that has tracks, audio+midi but no plugins?

I have seen ardour crash when re-loading sessions that include broken or badly programmed plugins.

> - Can you reproduce with an empty session?

Yes.
In fact, it's not so easy to reproduce. I believed that was because that
reproduce with the session that I'm working with.
But I've got here a session that reproduce each time (tested more than
4times).

Yes, with a session with audio tracks (only) but no region recorded and
no plugins.

---

So, to reproduce:
load "Mazeltoch fatastish Post-Prod" snapshot.
then load snapshot:
ashino post-prod
or
balkan post-prod
or
western post prod
or
session neutre (no plugins)
or
empty test (empty created for you)

and then save=>CRASH

Sorry I should have explained it clearer.

Please try to reproduce with a complete new project.

(..or first load "session neutre", then "empty test", then save.)

The idea is: do not load any plugins at all.

With your existing session, it is most likely closing the initial session "Mazeltoch fatastish Post-Prod" that causes the problem. It already has plugins active. The problem only manifests sometime later.

Anyway a backtrace would really help.

I cannot reproduce the error, even with your described workflow. -- which may either be related to me missing the audio-files or the Calf plugins on my test system.
