we changed this to avoid excessive density on the screen. i would welcome ideas on ways to handle this. i did not like the incredible density we had before, but i sort-of agree that the new setup is not friendly. i also don't think that simply spacing the control points by a wider gap than before is the answer, although it might be. |

Would it be a huge performance impact if the points would be shown after the mouse cursor has hovered over that automation track for say > 1 second. Then the points would vanish after the cursor leaves the track and > 1 second passes without re-entry? This could be associated with only the object mode and maybe gain mode for the gain envelope. |

This can be closed since we now have the handy show points when mouse is in automation track feature |
