| Summary | 0005344: Ardour 3 RC2 rev14024 doesn't remember default session folder and always falls back to home folder | ||||
| Description | I was a bit confused by this at first but I've figured out this issue is specific to the RC2 rev14024 bundle. When starting up a session it defaults to the home folder, regardless of which folder you have chosen to be the default folder. This doesn't happen with up to date self builds and it doesn't happen with the previous RC2 rev13980 bundle. I tried deleting .config/ardour3 but it doesn't make any difference. I went through the start up steps after doing this and choose a specific default folder. When I started it up next time, it didn't remember this folder and showed my home folder to be the default. Using a self build alongside the bundle doesn't have this issue and as I already said, when installing the previous bundle, the issue disappears so I am confident the issue is specific to the RC2 rev14024 bundle. | ||||
