| Summary | 0005087: Switching track inputs is more cumbersome in A3 than A2 | ||||
| Description | In Ardour 2, the drop-down list of hardware inputs in the channel strip only connects the inputs you choose, and disconnects all other inputs from the track. Most of the time, this is exactly what I want; otherwise, if I want to do anything more complicated, I can always choose 'Edit...'. In A3, the drop-down list of hardware inputs doesn't disconnect the other inputs: that means that to change the inputs assigned to a track is two right-clicks rather than one left-click, and I have to remember to choose 'Disconnect' first. This feels like a workflow regression to me. | ||||
