| Description | Ardour's "inserts" create latency in the output. I connected four different channels' outputs to a single inserts' input, and connected the insert output to master. Result: each of the four outputs was slower than everything else on the master channel, and each of the four was coming out at different times. The slowest was the last thing I added to the insert, the fastest was the first thing I added. | ||||
| Additional Information | I'm using Ardour beta11.2. Versions beyond that either crash my computer, or crash when creating a session, so I cannot verify this on any other versions (don't get me wrong, beta11.2 does these things as well, but only about 10% of the time). | ||||

Sorry, my mistake. By "send" I meant "insert." I can't get send to do anything at all. |

where was this insert positioned? also, i encourage you to try 0.9beta17.1. its way better in almost every way than beta11.2 was. |
