Summary0005062: Import dialog too wide for screen in French locale
DescriptionIn French locale, the File -> Import dialog is too wide for a reasonable 1366 px screen (see screenshot). I don't really understand why it takes so much space, but the result is a dramatic loss WRT usability. As this dialog is one of the first operations, it gives a really poor image of Ardour for new users I try to convince!
Additional InformationThis is on Fedora 17.

no need for that - i did it myself, and it still is.

the translations for each of the 5 or so items at the bottom of the dialog window are too long. some careful thought is needed.
