| Description | hi, don't know if this has been addressed yet but preventing ardour from selecting any file type but .ardour .bak would be good in the "select a session" dialog. in region list editor it's really annoying when you click to select a region then you click again to move it on a track and... renaming take place over dragging. regards | ||||

i did a hack for GTK on OS X for the drag/rename thing. it really is a hack though, and requires a hacked version of GTK so it will only work with the bundled version of Ardour, not with any normal version that uses the system version of GTK. i've talked to the GTK guys and there is no chance of my hack making it into the mainline code. they are deferring consideration of this kind of issue with the treeview until a "new" treeview appears (which may never happen). |
