why? what does an audio CD have to do with video frames? i think you might be confusing "frames" which here mean "video frames" with redbook sectors. let me know. |

yes, redbook sectors is what I'm referring to. Some other software packages just handle it as a 75 fps based timecode, hence my use of the term frames. |

but what do you do with it? aligning to redbook sectors seems pretty odd, unless you want to avoid sector padding. i would have thought that was the role of a CD layout tool/burner app, rather than the DAW. please enlighten me :) |

Perhaps you're right, this would be something expected in a cd layout tool. GCD Master allows for this. However, this DAW has the "Export to CD" and "Export CD Track Markers" features and it would be nice to have the ability to make sure the track markers are snapped to the nearest sector since it's possible that a track change may take place where padding is undesirable. |

CD markers are snapped to CD sector positions automatically. No change in the SMPTE FPS setting is required for this. |
