| Summary | 0000490: GUI kinks | ||||
| Description | 1. Editor Mixer Button - When "Editor Mixer" is on to display the selected track/bus mixer panel it changes the panel when changing between tracks. However, when clicking in a blank space so that no track is selected the panel dissappears BUT the "Editor Mixer" button stays selected. When clicking back onto a track/bus the panel does not show up. The "Editor Mixer" has to be turned off and back on to display the panel 2. Plugin Dropdown Lists - If a plugin config contains a drop down list, (the mono TAP dynamics plugin for instance) it is not possible to select from the drop down list as one would expect. One expects to select with the left mouse button, but I could only select from the list by holding down with the left mouse button while clicking quickly with the right mouse button. | ||||

Forgot one: 3. Entering pan value numerically: Sometimes I can't type in a numerical value. I type but nothing happens. Also when I can change the numerical value, it doesn't always dismiss the little text box after hitting the enter key or changing the focus. (Probably just kinks not yet ironed out as this feature is new) |

what window manager do you use? do you use click-to-focus, or do you just move your mouse into a window to get keyboard focus there? |
I was using the standard KDE 3.2.x window manager at the time. I was using click to focus. |

Oops, I misreported the Editor Mixer Button problem. It should read: When "Editor Mixer" is on to display the selected track/bus mixer panel it changes the panel when changing between tracks. However, when clicking the little X button at the top of the panel to close it, the panel dissappears BUT the "Editor Mixer" button stays selected. The "Editor Mixer" has to be then be clicked twice in order to show the panel again. |

I've got a patch that fixes this bug that I'll upload later if you're interested. |

I can't duplicate the plugin dropdown list bug. |
jeff - where's that patch? |

I'm marking this one closed due to the massive overhaul of the GUI library and .. everything since 2004. If this is still an issue, please reopen. |
