| Summary | 0004801: no simple way to enter numeric send values on internal aux sends | ||||
| Description | As title says, if I create an external send and double click on it, a window opens where I can adjust a slider with numeric values. The same does not apply on internal aux sends, where no window opens, and the only way to change the send value is by using the tiny slider below the send on the mixer strip, which is far from accurate. The only workaround I found is to create an automation of the aux fader, so a slider appears below the track on the main window, but it's values seem to be buggy (should I open a new bug for the buggy values?), and anyway it's preferable to just double click on the aux send instead of doing this for such a simple task. | ||||

If you double-click on the aux send in the processor box, the channel's main fader is supposed to be re-assigned to controlling the level of the aux send. Also, the 'Aux Sends' button in the aux bus should switch the faders of all tracks having an aux send to that bus to controlling the aux send level. Is it not working like that for you? |

Sorry I didn't know about that! I saw the track turned grey but couldn't tell why, now everything is clear! I'm still experiencing the bug of wrong values in the automation fader of the aux send, but I will report a new bug for this. Thanks! |

Is what you're seeing as "wrong values in send automation" the same as what's described in 0004734? |

not exactly the same, the slider moves but if it's, let's say, at 1.7 value, the aux small slider is sometimes at 1.0, sometimes at 1.7, sometimes doesn't move at all, it's just not always (or randomly) synced (even moving it manually) |
