| Summary | 0004784: M-Audio midi interface not recognized | ||||
| Description | When I connect my Axiom25 usb controller (by M-Audio) Ardour is not recognizing the device. It will not map transport buttons, it will not trigger midi keys. I can not locate my controller inside midi preferences for my controller in from settings. In FL Studio, i downloaded a .xml file (if I'm not mistaken) which the program used to to map transport buttons. I think this program would be a powerful sequencer if it recognized midi usb controllers. | ||||

It looks like there is a problem with starting JACK. Are you starting it yourself or leaving it to Ardour? |

Certainly worth a try; a newer JACK version will work better in some respects. Can you attach everything that happens on the console from the point that you start Ardour? |
