| Description | when various dialog boxes are re-sized, text fields and other widgets inside the dialog box do not re-size as expected. this is a problem with long region names that one wants to see fully by expanding the region properties window, but the actual text boxes/contents do not change. this problem was fixed for Region property & rename dialogs here: http://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=4639 however, i still see this problem on these following dialogs: (Playlist) New ... (Playlist) New Copy ... (Playlist) Rename ... (Route) Color ... New Group ... (note: not re-sizable at all) | ||||

Fixed the playlist and route group dialogues in 11599. What do you expect to resize in the route colour dialogue? |

i just included the color route dialog to be complete, assuming that all the dialog windows of a certain class needed some property changed to allow contained controls/widgets to re-size accordingly. i cannot offhand imagine a scenario where the color dialog would need to be re-sized, save for someone with poor vision. |

BTW, playlist and route group dialogs confirmed fixed in SVN 11599. as for the color dialog, i guess i expected the color wheel and currently selected color control to grow/shrink w/ window. but obviously it is not a big deal. thanks. |

As I understand it, the GTK color picker cannot be scaled up and down, so it would be a tremendous amount of work to make it happen in Ardour. I'll close this; if it's a big deal, please a feature request and I'll target it for 3.X. Thanks! |
