| Summary | 0004727: Newly-recorded stereo track only shows logarithmic waveform for right channel. | ||||
| Description | If I have waveforms set to 'Logarithmic' and record a stereo track, although the waveforms while recording are shown as logarithmic, after stopping recording the left channel reverts to showing a linear waveform. Reloading the session makes it display as expected, as does switching waveforms to 'Linear' and then back to 'Logarithmic' again. | ||||

Hmm, I can't reproduce this. |

OK, I've narrowed this down a bit: it seems to happen often when the session is on an SMB share or a FAT-32 formatted SD card, but never on my ext4 /home/ or an ext3-formatted external hard drive. |

I've just seen this happen on the ext4 /home partition of my old Pentium 4 desktop machine, but only sporadically in a session: the waveforms displayed correctly mostly, except for two or three takes. |

Believed fixed in SVN 12743; was reproducible every time for me when recording to a USB stick. |
