Summary | 0004708: Crash if stereo plugin applied to mono track
Description | Affected version: Ardour3_beta3 When applying a plugin with stereo output (splitter, calf compressor, etc.) to a mono track, ardour3 crashes with the following assertion: Audio 1 bufs = AUDIO=1:MIDI=0 input for Meter = AUDIO=2:MIDI=0 Applying a plugin with mono output and stereo input (like mixer), the crash does not happen. This error does not occur in beta2 though.

A similar crash occurs when adding some synthesizer plugin to a midi channel. In that case the assertion is: MIDI 1 bufs = AUDIO=0:MIDI=1 input for Amp = AUDIO=2:MIDI=0 Again: This crash does not occur in beta2. |
Same thing here: MIDI 1 bufs = AUDIO=0:MIDI=1 input for Amp = AUDIO=2:MIDI=0 tried LV2-Plugins: YC-Organ, CALF Monosynth and CALF Fluidsynth Rev 11482 |
Update: it is working for me in beta4 and svn after beta4. |
Great, thanks. |
