| Summary | 0004676: dragging content or markers near the right edge of the canvas can be a pain. | ||||
| Description | I first noticed the problem when trying to drag the "End" marker but this also occurs when dragging audio. revision 11385. I like the way the canvas scrolls before you've reached the edge when dragging an item but I think it should be fine tuned. After a bunch of editing the "End" marker was way beyond the end of my audio. I scrolled till it was just visible and clicked it to drag it to the left. Since it was positioned beyond the Canvas Auto Scroll Threshold, the canvas began scrolling left as so as I began dragging the end marker to the left. Since the canvas was scrolling faster than I was dragging the marker, I was actually loosing ground(canvas). Once I had dragged the marker towards the left far enough, (past the auto scroll threshold) the scrolling stopped and I could position the marker properly. Probably the canvas should never auto scroll in the direction that the drag is happening. | ||||
