| Description | Audio imported from the freesound tab in the import dialogue adds the freesound cache directory to the sessions audio path. This causes a dialogue to be presented at session load asking which version of the file should be used as it exists in two places. The freesound cache directory shouldn't be added to the sessions audio path. | ||||

Are you still seeing this? I can't reproduce it (unless you untick "copy to session" when importing). |

Shouldn't importing from Freesound always copy the file into the session, as by it's very nature Freesound is an online and therefore quite probably disconnected source of audio. The cache is just an intermediate location to speed usability, not really a place for session audio to be stored ! |

this is fixed. i guess i never updated the bug report. it was caused by auditioning the audio and creating a region that wasn't marked as "don't store this in the session region list". we now mark regions that are created for auditioning so that this does not happen, and as a result, the freesound cache dir never ends up in the session path. |
