| Summary | 0000466: creating a new session using name of existing session | ||||
| Description | When creating a new session using the name/path of an existing session, that session is opened. I think ardour should not allow this to happen, or at the very least warn the user. | ||||

In gtk_ardour, are you explicitly trying to create a new session with a create session button, or is this during startup where the session is given on the cmdline? |
Yes, this is all happening when using ardour's gui (create session dialog) and not on the command line. |
I think this was finally fixed. |

fixed in svn, at about rev 1045 or so. the user is now told that this is the case and can either open it anyway, without modifying it during opening, or try again. |
