| Description | the default key binding/shortcut for Edit/"Remove Last Capture" cannot be changed, even when the binding is changed in the "Key Binding" window. the menu does not show the new binding (i.e. it still shows "Ctrl+Delete") and only the default Ctrl+Delete actually works. also, it might be a good idea to make the default Shift+Delete, since that aligns with GNOME+KDE+Windows (maybe more?) shortcuts of removing a file immediately (i.e. bypassing the trash). | ||||

in SVN 11592, in the ~/.config/ardour3/ardour.bindings file, i have the following after changing the "Remove Last Capture" bindings via the "Key Bindings" GUI in A3: (gtk_accel_path "<Actions>/Editor/remove-last-capture" "<Primary>Delete") (gtk_accel_path "<Actions>/Common/RemoveLastCapture" "<Shift>Delete") if i change the first one (i.e. under Editor), then indeed it works. i am not sure if both need to be there? is this a bug or a messed up bindings file? can i remove the "(gtk_accel_path "<Actions>/Common/RemoveLastCapture" "<Shift>Delete")" entry? thanks. |

The duplicate action has been removed, so this should be working ok now. How is it for you? |

looks good in SVN 12647. just to confirm, the binding that is no longer used and can be removed is: (gtk_accel_path "<Actions>/Common/RemoveLastCapture" "<Shift>Delete") ? thanks |
