Summary0004630: Open recent session from within a running Ardour segfaults
DescriptionBeta2 and also the previous Beta1 was unable to open sessions from a running Ardour at least on my platform.

The sessions I tried is fine if I open them when I start Ardour. Seems the switch from one session to another is the problem.
Additional InformationUbuntu 11.10 Stock kernel but that doesn't seem that important

I note that whenever I close Ardour and save, I get segmentation fault so it is more at "dirty" shutdown than a session switch problem.

I don't know why but I can't seem to reproduce this. I am also running Ubuntu 11.10, amd fx 6-core, 16gb ram. stock 3.0.0-14 generic kernel. 1.5tb HD.

Thanks for checking.

I trashed my ~/.config/ardour3
And now that issue is gone.

Should be closed as no bug
