| Description | 1 - create a new MIDI track 2 - use MIDI draw tool to create a MIDI region 3 - using context menu, add a MIDI program change to region near middle of region 4 - resize region from RIGHT until region end is before program change 5 - resize so that region end is after program change. program change does not reappear | ||||
| Additional Information | performing resize operations from the LEFT seems to work correctly, i.e. program change reappears in step 5 also, shutting down and restarting ardour after step 5 results in program change reappearing normally my svn build is a week old or so but i haven't seen anything on irc that would indicate that there has been any work done on MIDI program change bugs | ||||

Okay, the description in the original issue is pretty confused. Here's a better description : 1 - create MIDI track 2 - use MIDI tool to create MIDI region 3 - using context menu, place a MIDI program change event kinda near left of region 4 - place playhead on program change event to keep track of where marker was originally placed 5 - resize MIDI region from left so start of region is after program change 6 - resize region again to start significantly before where it originally started 7 - note that program change reappears in a different point in absolute time that appears to be the same position relative to the start of the region |
