| Summary | 0004527: MIDI Quantization seems to "fail" with notes occurring many measures into a region/song | ||||
| Description | 1. start ardour with jack running at 44.1 kHz (not sure if this is necessary but i think so) 2. change BPM to something "funny" (153 BPM, i.e. NOT 120 BPM) 3. In Note edit mode, draw, say 30 measure region (aligned at 1|1|0000) 4. Set to "No Grid" and draw a note near start and another near end of region 5. (Notes previously drawn should start near but not on a beat) 6. Quantize region to "beat". Notice that note near start of region quantizes correctly but the note near end of region does not. Factoid: <ctrl-right click> on note near end of region and note that "frame" number for note start is something slightly less than 1920, but non-zero. May not be related. | ||||
