| Description | I do not know if this is a bug or a feature, but A3-Beta1 does no longer shows the buffer/DSP status at the top of the main window. Once, when fooling around with A3B1 this status info suddenly appeared, but I could not figure out what I did to get it to appear. I find the DSP info to be quite useful, because I often play midi keyboard live through A3 and I need to make sure that DSP stays below 100% to avoid xruns and audio glitches. (however QJackCtl also displays DSP, but it would be nice to have it in A3, too). | ||||

Right-click on the status info, select "DSP". Does that work? |

Hey, that does work! Did not know about that feature. However, I do note that the latency reported by Ardour Jack info is 1/2 the latency reported by QJackCtl. |

ardour reports the latency from one jack source to a jack sink. this is roughly the recording latency, disregarding any A/D and additional hardware buffers. qjackctl seems to report round-trip latency, i.e. the time it takes from jack client A to B and back to A. |
