| Summary | 0004518: Ardour can't get information from vst file + log window freezes at plugin scan | ||||
| Description | At startup the log windows is in log1.txt attached. As you see, the main error is when scanning native vsts. Maybe some are 32bits, but I'm sure some are 64bits. If if try "refresh" in the plugin manager, the log windows appears and freezes : no more sliders and can't close. I don't know if there are two bugs or just one with two consequences... | ||||

Remark : the log window keeps freezed until I close the plugin manager windows, then it retrieves its functionnalities. |

I know the difference between windows and linux vsts, but sure I know it's a problem for some people migrating to Linux and Ardour I made some progresses : all my native vsts are in the lxvst folder, and Qtractor have the same problem, so it's not Ardour related. I tried to reinstall some of them from the KXstudio repos and now they work. So you can skip this problem for now Only stays the parser error when trying to refresh the plugins manager : child log windows freezes. I'd call that a minor bug. |
