| Description | Logic Audio from Emagic has a feature (a selectable option actually) which enables the user to open plugins in diferent dialogs(like Ardour currently does) or to have only one open dialog. From that dialog you can then view all effects in the current track. I think this is a million times more practical then to have many opened dialogs on top of each other that "reduce visibility" of the main Ardour screen. The currfently closest to what I mean, I have seen it in the routing parameters dialog. It would be nice to make THIS dialog appear every time you make a double click over an effect, send or other. Of course, if there already was an opened dialog, the next time you double clicked over a plugin, a new dialog SHOULD NOT APPEAR, instead the already opened dialog should switch to the selected plugin parameters view. | ||||

Yes, talk to jesse about the Route View window. It can show all the plugins in one window. |

the problem is that the route parameters window needs some major updating. however, i feel that this bug can be closed. |
