Summary0004498: mda linuxvst plugins cannot load presets
Descriptionmda linuxvst plugins get a generic gui in ardour. when i try to load a preset from the list, nothing happens. i can click the presets but the values (and the sound) in the plugin do not change.

On my setup, browsing MDA preset list crashes Ardour (no freeze, closing).

 Are you seeing GUIs in a different host? The preset stuff should work now, though the MDA VST plugins seem to have some bugs with respect to internal presets. You may be better off using the LV2 ports.

i just built qtractor to test this. mda plugins show generic gui in qtractor. no presets. (in ardour i could at least see them) so definitely a mda problem.

i just realised, the generic gui notice from the bugreport... i did not want to say that mda plugins should have a non-generic gui. paul just asked it on irc, so i thought i write it down here.

I think also that it's more a mda vst bug, not Ardour related.
