That's strange, it works for me. Can you provide a session that it fails to work in? |

doesn't work in any session, not even in a brand new one, still want one? are you sure you don't have draw/edit enabled, cause then it works... |

Does it work with any other modifiers? (in case something screwy is going on with those). It's definitely drawing a "ghost" note, not a rubberband selection rectangle? |

nope, doesn't work with any of the modifiers, and yes it's a white 'ghost' note not the blue selection rectangle.. |
