| Summary | 0000443: EQ nobs on mixer window? | ||||
| Description | I havent yet worked out a way of eq'ing my tracks. I dont have a physical desk to loop it back through, so it would be useful to have some eq settings on the software mixer. | ||||

ardour does not come with builtin EQ. i consider that a silly design because people's taste in EQ's varies so widely that there is no EQ that wouldn't find some set of users complaining about it. EQ is intended to be done using your choice of EQ plugin. i am particularly partial to the free VST plugins "ParisEQ" and Kaerhus Audio's ClassicEQ. the LADSPA 10 Band EQ is also pretty nice. this design does have the disadvantage that EQ controls are not as accessible as gain and pan, but perhaps we will come up with a solution to that in the future. |
