| Description | At revision 10377 -the output matrix of the master bus shows: -tab 'busses' - out1,2 -> which are hardware ports -tab 'hardware' - master in...bus1 in -> which are busses ' -track output matrix - the same situation, the content of the tab 'busses' is confused with the content of the tab 'hardware'. -for a bus output matrix the same situation. also, if we have any sends in the session, they are listed in the input matrices in tab 'ardour tracks' which is not right - busses are not audio tracks. it would not hurt if we had a tab called sends in the input matrices, but that seems for me complicated.... well this report is not easy for me to write it down and i hope that i wrote everything right, but others could have a look too and see if they have the same missmatch. cheers, doc | ||||

The tab confusion is fixed in SVN 10384. The logic with the sends is that they appear below the track that they are being sent from; they are associated with the track in that way, at least. Not sure what is best here. |

carl is right. a send is linked to what is sends from, not what it sends to (which need not be an Ardour object at all - you can create a Send that is wired to external hardware, or to the network). |
