| Summary | 0004390: lxvst settings reset when opening plugin ui | ||||
| Description | To see this problem you will need the NoiseMaker lxvst installed. Load the attached session, solo track 'MIDI 1' and note how the preset sounds. Now open the plugin ui for that track then play it again and you'll notice the settings (preset/sound) for that track have disappeared. In the attached session this problem only seems to affect track 'MIDI 1' but not track 'MIDI'. | ||||
| Additional Information | I've experienced this problem in a 'proper' session I'm working on right now which unfortunately I can't attach. In that session, all of the lxvst hosting tracks have this problem right now. I have managed to reproduce this a couple of times including within the attached test session but, after a couple of hours of trying I have been unable to devise a precise recipe to reproduce this fault every time but I'm sure that it is caused when you copy/paste multiple MIDI regions spanning multiple tracks. | ||||

If this isn't caused by copy/pasting multiple MIDI regions over multiple MIDI tracks then I suspect it could be related to resizing multiple MIDI regions spanning multiple tracks simultaneously somehow. |

No-one else verified or experienced this yet? This is a showstopping bug for me and probably for anyone else who plans to use lxvsts. |

I created the attached session file with a recent A3 svn built under Debian Wheezy x64 and I've just tried it out now with 10323 under AV5 ie 32bit Debian Squeeze and I see the same problem occur. |

Fixed in SVN 10628. |

Indeed the serious part of this issue is fixed under beta1a in that the settings no longer disappear when opening a lxvst plugin window but the preset names aren't getting restored as happens in the session attached to this issue. |
