| Description | With all the other timelines you can right-click within them to create a new marker point but this isn't the case for Loop/Punch markers under 10209 - instead you must create them via the transport menu which seems a bit odd. | ||||

You need to ctrl+click and drag on the loop/punch ruler |

Not sure how useful it would be to right-click and set a loop/range marker... |

Being able to right-click then select 'Set loop/range start', mark out/drag the length then left click to set the end point would make the UI more consistent (with the other timelines and markers) and this would become another frequently used (by me at least) operation you would be able to perform with the mouse only which is nice when you can see the screen and have a wireless or long-cabled mouse but can't reach the keyboard. |

In SVN 12781 you can add a range marker from the context menu; I think it's better to add one of a pretty arbitrary length and then let the user adjust it rather than requiring a (probably unexpected) drag after the menu selection. |
