Summary0004296: A3 warns about colons in track/bus names when there aren't any; fails to update names properly.
Description(Note: I've *installed* Ardour3, not just compiled.)

This has been going on for me for a while

1. Create a new session from the dialog when you first start A3. Use the default settings for master bus / connections.
2. Right-click the empty space in the track list of the editor window and add a single track. The defaults are fine here too.
3. Try renaming the track to something that contains no colons.

Ardour3 will warn that the use of colons is discouraged and ask if you insist on doing this. Regardless of what option you choose, the track is renamed in the editor, but nowhere else: the track list on the right, the mixer window, the connections manager, and JACKs port listing still show the old track name.

Oh, and the track rename that A3 appears to accept does not persist through a session reload.

I fixed some problems with this a few weeks ago. Is it a problem with current SVN?

I can't reproduce this; can you give a precise recipe starting with a new session?

Interesting.

I have two computers which are, AFAICT, identical software-wise. On one, I can't reproduce the problem. On the other, creating a new session, creating a single track, and then renaming the track causes the bug 100% of the time. I tried removing my ardour.rc file and it made no difference.

I'm at a total loss to explain this.
