Summary0004279: Media-Import-window does not fit on a screen 1400 wide
DescriptionIn my German version of alpha 10 I cannot see more than 80% of the window for file-imports. It is just too wide. Since I use a screen with 1400/1050 resolution I estimate, that the window grows to somewhere beyond 1600.

This is purely a translation-issue. The wording for the dropdowns below the file-chooser is too longish.

- the second entry in the leftmost reads: "zur Liste der Regionen"
it would be perfectly ok if it would be: "zur Regionenliste".

The other dropdowns could be treated similar to make them narrower.

Additional InformationI adressed this very issue some 2 years ago regarding A2 and submitted my changes to the german po-file. I find it quite strange, that it is still not solved. This piece of cake problem can make A3 look quite unprofessional to users. I could easily solve it for myself by just edit the translation-file again but I would be happy to know, that any new users, I recommend A3 to, will not face this ugly flaw also.

If you would like to edit the .po file and attach a patch to this bug I will happily commit it to A3.

UPDATE: week over. Still I cannot manage to build Rev10025 to show up in German.

I`ll refetch/rebuild and keep you informed...

Exactly, I was not able to buil A3 2 weeks ago (on Suse 11.3). Ill try again tomorrow....

Thanks for reporting back. The German translation has recently been updated, so maybe that's why.
