| Description | perhaps this is how it should work, but in case it does not: a MIDI mapping that binds a continuous controller to the URI="/route/send/gain BX X" (X being 1-N, N being number of controller) does not work at first with a send/aux send added to a route that is attached to nothing, though one can adjust the level with the GUI. once the send is connected to something, the binding works. also, if the send is disconnected again, the binding continues to work. | ||||

i cannot replicate this any more. i have noticed a separate bug with the remote control IDs of tracks, which i will fix momentarily. |

this was actually much more complex than i anticipated, but it should all be working now at rev 12922 and above. MIDI bindings will now be looked up as needed, so if you have a generic MIDI binding map that references something that doesn't yet exist in a session, it will be found later if/when it does exist. this covers both the specific case you encountered, and many others. |

i am on the road and away from the MIDI controller, so cannot test this currently. regardless, thanks for the fix. |
