Summary0004247: GUI hangs when trying to configure second instance of ir.lv2
DescriptionTo reproduce:

Create a new session.
Add two instances of ir.lv2 anywhere: I tried both on the master bus, and one of each on two different buses.
Try to configure them both, at the same time, or one after the other. Ardour continues processing but the GUI hangs.
Additional InformationI haven't tried this with other plugins. That's probably worth investigating.

I've been told the bug is in ir-lv2 and it also hangs with just one instance for me.

I just updated to SVN revision 9973, and ir.lv2 is version 1.3.1 from the tarball on the website. The problem is still there. Sorry las. :-(

Here are some steps to reproduce reliably and easily:

-Create a new session with a stereo master bus
-Add ir.lv2 as a plugin to the master bus (I have it in my favorites, if that makes a difference)
-The ir.lv2 gui opens; close it.
-Double-click ir.lv2 to re-open the plugin GUI.
-Ardour's gui hangs.

Tried again this morning with r.10002 and it's still there.

Works for me with current SVN. Can you still reproduce?

I apologize; I've got things mostly up and running here, but somehow my libzita-convolver is broken and I don't know how to fix it; consequently, Ardour cannot instantiate the plugin at all. I'll work on this some more tomorrow.

Fixed it! (Damn zita-convolver not putting the library links where they go; or damn ir.lv2 for not dynamically linking from the right place.)

As far as I can tell, this bug is squashed!

/me goes to make good on his sponsorship!

As of r.10410 (probably earlier) this no longer happens.
