Summary0004239: 1st run wizard is run twice
DescriptionAfter deleting user settings from /home, 1st run wizard is run twice, and there are issues remembering the selected options:

- Remove ~/.config/ardour3 and run ardev from gtk2_ardour
- 1st time the wizard appears (ok)
- After all settings are done you get your session
- Close Ardour
- Open ardour3: you get the wizzard again (not ok)
- Some settings are in fact remembered but others don't. From 1st run to 2nd it doesn't remember:
* Monitoring through Ardour
* Default session folder (in fact, it remembers part of the path)

It looks like it remembers the part of the path that corresponds to one of the default entries in the dropdown menu (Desktop, my home folder, Music, Documents (I'm using ubuntu)).

Should be fixed in SVN 9944.

Tested 9946.

Wizard is run once (that is fixed).

But the issue with the path is still there.

When I set it to

~/Music/Ardour\ projects/tests/

it only remembers

~/Music/

That should be fixed in SVN 9947.

Tested 9955 and still fails:

Let me clarify my testing procedure to make sure that this is really a bug:

- Remove ~/.config/ardour3 and run ardev from gtk2_ardour
- 1st time the wizard appears
- Set "/home/nando/Music/Hecho aqui/Ardour Tests/"
- After all settings are done you get your session, and it gets saved to the directory selected above.
- Close Ardour
- Open Ardour and tell the wizard to create a new session
- In the New Session dialog, it says: "Create session folder in: [Music]"
- Not changing that and creating the session puts the session files in "/home/nando/Music/" and not in "/home/nando/Music/Hecho aqui/Ardour Tests/"

The combo in the wizard opens a gtk dialog that maybe is related to the installed gtk version or something right? Relevant info from a noob:

$ aptitude show libgtk2.0-dev
Package: libgtk2.0-dev
State: installed
Automatically installed: no
Version: 2.22.0-0ubuntu1

Gnome about dialog: version 2.32.0 (Ubuntu 10.10)

Is this still a problem with current SVN?
