Summary0004216: dragging items forward in time with Editor List not visible does not scroll view as expected
Descriptionwhen dragging the play head, markers, regions, etc. forward in time (i.e. to the right) to the edge of the viewable region area in the Editor window, usually the viewable region area scrolls automatically forward/right while the drag continues. however, when the Editor List is not visible (via View/Show Editor List menu item), this automatic scrolling of the viewable time line area on a drag does not work. once the Editor List is visible again, it works again.

dragging backwards in time/left does not seem to be changed by the visibility of the Editor List.

It sort of works for me, but never goes particularly fast. I think this is because the autoscroll speed is related to the distance from the right side of the track view to the pointer, which isn't always very high if there is no editor list for the mouse to go into.

yes, you are right, i can make it scroll, but super slow, where it does not even seem to be scrolling. does the bug name need to be updated (from "does not scroll" to "scrolls very very slowly")?

thanks

Should be fixed in SVN 10718.

thanks for the update and fix. in SVN 10722, the scrolling now works when the Editor List is not visible, but in general now the drag scrolling seems a bit choppier, and sometimes gets stuck if the drag is "too fast" for lack of a better word. however, the drag can be made to work in both directions even without the Editor List showing.
