| Description | possible regression: MIDI tracks no longer forward their MIDI data, either coming in from the track's MIDI in port OR from a MIDI region being played on the track, to the same MIDI track's MIDI out port. not sure if this is the right term, but basically MIDI tracks are no longer passing the MIDI data "Thru" from its MIDI in port/region to its MIDI out port. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) create a new session 2) create a MIDI track "MIDI 1" 3) start an external JACK synth 4) route MIDI from the system JACK MIDI port to the "MIDI 1" in port 5) route MIDI out from the "MIDI 1" track's out port to the MIDI in port of external synth 6) route audio out of external synth to Ardour Master in 7) send MIDI data to track, nothing comes out of synth | ||||
| Additional Information | NOTE: internal (i.e. on the channel strip) synths still seem to work, though on those tracks as well, no MIDI data is forwarded thru to the MIDI out port of the track NOTE: though right clicking on a MIDI track shows a "MIDI Thru" check box option, selecting it in the previous alphas, and still, never changes its state nor seems to do anything. | ||||
